Mountain lions have been recently reported along the lower Salt River in the far East Valley (Phoenix). We have talked to several people in the Catalina Foothills Tucson area that have seen them over the last four years. The most recent sighting a month ago.
Fanster reports, “Max Foster, a writer for the Payson Roundup, suggests that the decision of ASU higher-ups to abandon scenic Camp Tontozona near Payson as the Devils’ preseason training ground, is coming back to haunt the program.”

ASU announced, “The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), Lake Havasu City, the Lake Havasu Unified School District and the Lake Havasu Foundation for Higher Education are planning to explore the possibility of offering select Arizona State University undergraduate degree programs in Lake Havasu City, starting Fall 2011.”
We think this is a great idea! But, wonder where the Lake Havasu students will go for Spring Break? Will they have a ASU Jet Ski Team? Crew Team?
